We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is very well
equipped and thought has gone into the excellent decoration. A nice quiet spot, ideal
to get away from work etc for a break “just what the doctor ordered”

We thought that this cottage was probably the best we have stayed
in whilst in the Lakes, Even though the weather wasn’t great we will certainly be
back sooner rather than later. Hopefully to take advantage of the Sun Terrace! Thanks
again
Martin and Cheryl, Merseyside.

Our stay was very enjoyable, a lovely house perfect for up to 6 people
and an ideal location for the Ullswater fells.
The weather could have been better,
but we made the most of the log fire.
Thank you for sharing your home with us best

A truly welcoming cottage Bless you for sharing it with us and so many
other grateful visitors. The welcome tray of fudge, biscuits and milk was particularly
appreciated and the standard of cleanliness. Well done

This is a lovely cottage with a real homey atmosphere as well as being
well equipped. We have really enjoyed our stay, although the time seems to have gone
quicker than imagined. Our teenage daughter thinks this place rocks!

Despite some of the worst and rainiest weather we have had in the
Lakes we have had the best holiday. The cottage is amazing we will definitely need
to come again to enjoy the garden in the better weather.
Thanks, Gail, Jerry and family.

12 October 2006
Cut loose, we drifted aimlessly for days in the doldrums of the kitchen.
At the night we huddled around the front room camp fire, poking coals and sharing
passionate stories. Bedrooms were chosen with the ease of a mountain stream tumbling
down the fell side. We took showers and rain in our stride (but we didn’t wear out
our walking boots in the bathroom).
Ps It is of course a great cottage and as mentioned
by the majority of guests – particularly well stocked.
Cocooned, in the mist shroud.
Walked, talked and shared in the hills retreat, yet open to new.
14 October 2006
Had a grand time sailing on the waters of Ullswater from Glenridding
Sailing Centre. Walked Cat Bells near Derwent Water. Had a day in the South Lakes
very glad it was out of season. We enjoyed the Steam Boat museum which is about to
shut for two years renovation. Always a pleasure to come home to Keldas View.
