Welcome to Keldas View Holiday Cottage in Glenridding
Keldas View Cottage is a traditional Lakeland stone terraced cottage built for the miners of the Greenside lead mines in the late 19th Century.
The Lake District holiday cottage sleeps 6 people, has full oil fired central heating and traditional open fire, burning both coal and logs. The cottage is furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard.
The cottage is situated in the heart of Glenridding at the head of Lake Ullswater and is well placed on the main route up to Helvellyn. Panoramic mountain views are available from all rooms of the cottage especially so from the sun lounge balcony on the second floor with views to Place Fell, Keldas and over to Birkhouse Moor.
Lake Ullswater is only a few minutes walk away, which offers many outdoor activities including steamer cruises, boat hire, sailing and fishing to name a few.
For the mountain bikers the cottage benefits from a large garden shed for secure storage.
Keldas View Cottage makes an ideal base for walkers and country lovers, or a holiday cottage just simply to relax in peace and quiet surrounded by spectacular scenery.
Glenridding has a good range of local shops, pubs and cafes, as well as a local garage, making it the ideal base for exploring the Lake District National Park
